The Yorkshire Cricket Foundation provides cricket based education and community programmes across Yorkshire. Their work falls under five themes which are Education, Health & Wellbeing, Participation, Inclusion and History & Heritage.
They engage with schools throughout the academic year. Cricket in the Classroom engages with over 4000 children a year and, along with the Emerald Education Day (which takes place each year), more and more children are benefiting from their work.
2011 saw the opening of the Yorkshire Cricket Museum which was achieved through the support of the Emerald Foundation.
Leeds Rugby Foundation’s mantra is "Changing lives through Sport". They deliver a range of projects under the themes of Sport, Health, Education and the Arts to children and adults of many different groups, including primary and secondary schools and community rugby clubs.
